The family of Dr. Alice P. Green has partnered with the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region to manage the Dr. Alice P. Green Memorial Fund.
Established in 1968, the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region is solely focused on strengthening our community through philanthropy. The Community Foundation achieves this through collaboration with donors and community partners who share a vision for community transformation through stewardship of charitable endowments, superior donor services, effective grantmaking, and leadership to address community needs.
The Community Foundation manages the money contributed to more than 450 component funds, ensuring that the income and principal (if applicable) are directed to charitable uses and are in accord with the governing documents of the Community Foundation and the individual component fund.
